🌟 What sets us apart?

1. Inclusivity: We welcome all kinds of filmmakers, from beginners with a mobile phone to seasoned professionals with high-end equipment. We celebrate diversity in storytelling and want to provide a platform for your unique vision.

2. Maximum Exposure: When you submit your project to us, we don't just consider it another entry. We're committed to promoting all registered projects. Your work will receive a promotional post on our social networks, giving it the recognition it deserves. We understand that every filmmaker deserves support, whether they win or not.

3. Unusual Format: No Country for Old Films takes a different approach to film festivals. Your project will be screened privately to a select audience of film professionals, including producers, distributors, and sales agents. We're not just about the thrill of a live event; we're here to help you connect with the industry experts who can propel your career forward.

4. No Premiere Loss: Don't worry about losing your project's premiere status. Since our private screenings are exclusively for industry professionals and not the public, your premiere remains intact. You can share your work with a broader audience while still attracting industry attention.

5. Online Projects Welcome: Unlike many other festivals, we don't disqualify your project for being available online. Your work is your own, and we're here to support your journey to greater exposure. We believe in filmmakers' freedom to choose their path, rather than seeking exclusivity.

6. New Voices, Regardless of Production Year: Our festival name may suggest a focus on new films, but we embrace new talent and unique stories, regardless of the production year. Whether your project is from 2023 or 2018, we are eager to listen to what you have to say and help you move forward in your filmmaking journey.
At No Country for Old Films, we're not just another film festival; we're a launchpad for your career. Join us and connect with the right people who can help you make a giant leap in your filmmaking journey. Your voice matters, and we're here to make sure it's heard.

Don't wait for your chance; seize it at No Country for Old Films. Submit your project today and step into the spotlight you've been waiting for. Your story deserves to be told, and we're here to tell it. 🎥🌟
Frequent questions:

Just by registering, will I have a promotional post on your networks?
Yes, ALL registered projects will have a promotional post to give you the maximum possible exposure. Normally festivals only publish the winners, but what if your project is not selected, what do you get from the festival? Probably nothing, that's why we're going to help you just by signing up. We believe that festivals have to contribute more to the filmmaker and this is our way of telling you that we are always with you.
Do I lose my premiere if I am selected?
No, you don't lose it. Since it is a private pass for professionals in the sector and is not shown to the public, you will never lose your premiere.

Can I participate if my project is online on any platform?
Yes. Although this is not usual either since festivals eliminate projects that are available online. We will never rule you out for that. The project is yours and yours alone and no festival should eliminate you for trying to find the best for your project. They only do this so they can have exclusivity, which seems very selfish to us. The project is yours and we support you 100x100 in everything you do to have more exposure.
The name of your festival suggests that you only want new films? What is the production limit year?
Our festival name is aimed at new talent and filmmakers with new things to tell. We don't care if your project is from 2023 or 2018, if you have things to tell, we are here to listen to you and help you.
